Choose your PC parts
A PC is built from several parts. Each one has its own job, and they all need to work together.
- Processor (CPU) Runs instructions and handles your programs.
- Graphics card (GPU) Makes the images you see in games.
- Motherboard Links the parts so they can communicate.
- Memory (RAM) Helps your PC keep games and programs running while they're open.
- Storage Stores your operating system, games, and files.
- Power supply (PSU) Sends power to the PC parts.
- Case Holds your parts and keeps them protected.
- Cooling Helps keep your parts from getting too hot.
Check before you buy
Before you buy, make sure the parts work together and fit your budget. The CPU needs to match the motherboard, and everything needs to fit inside the case.
